Thailand

Thailand moves easily between busy cities, temples and island beaches. In Bangkok, Chinatown’s street food stalls come alive after dark, while lantern festivals light up the skies in northern cities like Chiang Mai. Further south, longtail boats weave between limestone cliffs around Phi Phi and Phuket’s beaches draw travellers from around the world. From ancient ruins in Ayutthaya to markets, temples and some of Southeast Asia’s best food, Thailand blends culture, coastline and city life in one easy trip.

Bangkok after dark gets spicy. Tear through neon backstreets by Tuk Tuk, chasing the city’s best street food – sweating over open flames, smashing satay, dumplings and chilli heat. Loud, greasy, addictive. The best way to taste Bangkok.

Thailand moves fast

Thailand was my first big trip and I absolutely loved it. You're eating pad thai from a wok the size of a small car on a Bangkok street at midnight, then you're on a longtail boat watching limestone cliffs around you, then you're sitting in a temple in Chiang Mai at dawn and a monk walks past like you're not even there. Thailand moves fast and quietly at the same time. It's the trip that reminds you why you started travelling in the first place.
