Cinematic Days on the Amalfi Coast, Italy

Cinematic Days on the Amalfi Coast, Italy

The Amalfi Coast is a show-stealer, but hiking the Path of the Gods is next-level. Cliffs tumble into the Tyrrhenian, terraced villages cling to hillsides and lemon groves scent the air. Every step feels like walking through a postcard.

Remote Rorbuer Cabin Stay, Norway

Red cabins on stilts, fjords like glass, Arctic peaks punching the sky. The Lofoten Islands are Europe’s best-kept summer secret – quiet, wild and smugly beautiful. Stay up late to marvel at the midnight sun and relish being one of the few in the know.

Santorini’s Iconic Sunsets, Greece

Santorini is a Euro Summer classic for a reason. Whitewashed buildings, blue domes and hills that make you stop mid-step. And the sunsets – pastel skies spilling over a sea that looks photoshopped. Grab a cliff, sip something cold and soak it all in.

If you’re an Australian passport holder, most European countries allow visits of up to 90 days visa-free within the Schengen Area. Some countries outside Schengen have different rules, so it’s best to check your destination before booking.

Europe’s summer – roughly June to September – is when the weather is warm, the days are long and the vibes are in full swing. For fewer crowds, try late May or early September. It’s still balmy and you’ll find it easier to bag a space big enough to lay your towel on the beach.

Tipping isn’t mandatory, or expected but is always appreciated. In cafés and restaurants, rounding up or leaving 5–10% is standard. Small tips for taxi drivers, hotel staff and guides are also welcomed for good service.
