This isn't a ski trip. It's an immersion. An ARRIVAL special. Ten days of chasing snow ghosts across volcano ridgelines, soaking sore quads in ancient onsens and getting lost (and found) in ramen shops tucked under glowing lanterns. Hokkaido delivers not just some of the deepest snow on Earth – up to 17 metres a season – but a cultural reverence for nature, detail and delight. You'll ride, eat, steam and laugh your way through the true north of Japan with nine other ARRIVAL legends.

Activities

The fun stuff

Freeride Guiding

Local guides lead the charge across Niseko’s four linked resorts – Annupuri, Hirafu, Hanazono and Niseko Village. From open bowls to tree runs, they match terrain and pace to your group, chasing the best snow each day. It's real-time powder hunting, not cookie-cutter tours.

Night Skiing (Optional)

Once the sun dips, the floodlights fire up. Ski under the stars on Annupuri’s illuminated runs, open until 9pm. It’s quiet, surreal and seriously fun. Optional, but highly recommended for anyone still buzzing after a full day on the mountain. Extra costs apply.

Onsen Soak (Flexible)

Slip into steamy, mineral-rich waters surrounded by snowdrifts and cedar trees. Hokkaido’s natural hot springs are the real deal – soothing, scenic and steeped in tradition. Respect the rituals, bring a small towel and prepare to melt in the best way. You choose when you want to take this one. Maybe listen to your body.

Touring Add-On (Optional)

For the bold: three plus full days of guided ski touring across untamed terrain – think Chisenupuri, Nitonupuri, or even mighty Mt. Yotei. Earn your turns, escape the crowds and find untouched powder far from the lifts. Extra cost, priceless payoff. (weather dependent)

Sapporo Night Out

Trade snow for city lights. After a final ride, explore Sapporo’s neon-drenched streets. Think back-alley izakayas, steaming bowls of midnight ramen and one last kanpai with the crew. It’s the perfect wrap-up to a week of cold smoke and hot springs.
