only 137 spots leftThis year, we’ve turned our Snow Machine trip up a notch. The warm-up begins in Tokyo, followed by the main event: Snow Machine in Hakuba, with the luxury of our very own ski-in, ski-out hotel, the whole ARRIVAL crew under one roof and daily shuttles to the festival after each day on the slopes. The trip starts with two nights at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, the one with a life-sized Godzilla head looming over Kabukicho (because apparently a normal hotel sign wasn't enough). We kick it off with an ARRIVAL welcome dinner: all you can eat, all you can drink. Then Tokyo is yours. Rampage through Shibuya konbini for egg sandwiches, famichiki and onigiri, hunt down the tiny ramen counters and record stores, or go to karaoke, which will humble everyone very early. Then the Japanese Alps take over for the main event of the trip: Snow Machine! A festival spread across the mountains: with 30-plus artists, and DJs playing at multiple stages across the mountains from Wednesday to Saturday, as well as the main arena near Happo from Thursday to Saturday night. For five nights, the entire crew stays at The Alps Hotel Hakuba: a 55-year-old mountain hotel completely rebuilt for winter 2027, sitting directly on the slopes of Hakuba Norikura. Skis on right outside the door. Cortina linked next door. Ten Hakuba Valley resorts within reach on your pass. And when the ski boots come off: a natural onsen back at the hotel, a sauna, a heated outdoor pool, a restaurant and a bar, all downstairs. The 2027 line-up for Snow Machine includes KETTAMA, Patrick Topping, Wilkinson, Luude, TOKiMONSTA, Elderbrook DJ Set, Sneaky Sound System, Kanine, STÜM and Sam Alfred, with more still to come. Daily shuttles run between the hotel and the festival (Tsugaike -10min shuttle, Happo - 30min shuttle, Goryu - 40min shuttle, Main arena - 20 mins shuttle) , and when the last bus drops you home, we're kicking on back at the hotel bar. Rally the group chat. This isn't the year to miss.

Tokyo Warm-up the First Two Nights
Most snow trips use Tokyo as a place to change trains. We are giving it a proper chapter. Hotel Gracery puts the crew in the middle of Shinjuku, with Kabukicho's lights, bars, restaurants and late-night chaos outside. The welcome dinner is included, giving you a chance to sit down with the entire crew you’ll be spending the next 7 days with. The next day is entirely yours. Roam the Tsukiji Outer market to try grilled scallops, fresh uni, tamagoyaki on a stick. Shimokitazawa for vintage stores, record shops and coffee that people queue for. Akihabara for arcades, retro games, gachapon machines, teamLab PLanets to walk through rooms of infinite mirrors and koi (brightly coloured fish). If you’re a real foodie - Omoide Yokocho is the yakitori alley behind Shinjuku station with smoke, lanterns and tiny counters. Depachika at Isetan is another gem: this basement food hall is a full-contact sport. Sushi, mochi, 300 kinds of pickles, all of it to die for.
